Demonstrate, Deploy, Decarbonize 2024Â (Deploy24) is the second annual convening of leaders and decision-makers across sectors dedicated to accelerating clean energy deployment and investment in the United States. Hosted by the Department of Energy, Deploy24 will showcase cutting-edge innovations, encourage open and honest discussion on breakthrough strategies, and forge collaborations that will strengthen economic competitiveness and enable domestic decarbonization.
Deploy24 aims to accelerate deployment and investment in clean energy technologies to advance the nation’s competitiveness, security, and net-zero goals while creating good jobs and outcomes that benefit all Americans.
Deploy24 is about:
Deploy23 was the first annual gathering across the private sector, government, and the broader ecosystem dedicated to accelerating the deployment of critical energy and decarbonization technologies in the United States.
The event featured discussions and learning sessions – Plenaries, Circuits, Deploy Dialogues, technology showcases, and networking opportunities – that created intimate, challenging, roll-up-your-sleeves opportunities for cross-sector problem solving around domestic deployment of clean energy.Â
Deploy24 is open to all* who are interested in clean energy advancement in the United States, including private industry, finance and consulting organizations, academia, nonprofits, trade associations, tribal organizations, and government agencies (Federal, State, and Local). Members of the media are also welcome.
*Due to the strong response last year and our anticipation of another sellout event, we will accept up to 5 attendees from each company, organization, agency, or entity.
The mission of the Energy Department is to ensure America’s security and prosperity by addressing its energy, environmental, and nuclear challenges through transformative science and technology solutions. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is tasked with maintaining a safe, secure and effective nuclear deterrent and reducing the threat of nuclear proliferation, overseeing the United States’ energy supply, carrying out the environmental clean-up from the Cold War nuclear mission, and the 17 National Laboratories.
The DOE established the Office of Infrastructure in 2022 to serve as the demonstration and deployment arm of DOE, tasked with stewarding billions in historic investments to renew our nation’s infrastructure, rebuild domestic manufacturing, create millions of good-paying jobs, address climate change, and increase American competitiveness.
The Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office (LPO) provides loans and loan guarantees for large-scale energy infrastructure projects in the United States. LPO provides flexible, custom financing that helps meet the specific needs of individual borrowers, and partners with applicants throughout the entire lifetime of a project. Leveraging collective decades of financial, technical, legal, and environmental experience of its team members, LPO has closed more than $36 billion in loans and loan guarantees that help enable decarbonization technologies to become bankable so that they can be scaled via commercial debt markets.
