Reshma Singh serves as Program Director at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where she has founded two DOE innovation engines Cradle to Commerce (c2c.lbl.gov) and IMPEL (impel.lbl.gov). These programs have incubated 250 clean energy startups, over 50% of which have diverse founders. She also directs international programs such as the Climate Smart Women Energy Leaders Program that was launched at COP 27, and the U.S.-India Renewable Energy Technology Acceleration Program.
Reshma’s work intersects clean energy technology innovation, and global women’s leadership. She holds two cleantech patents on renewables and smart grid. She is the lead author of over 25 peer-reviewed publications on technology innovation, smart buildings and cities, with a focus on clean energy, machine learning on data analytics and UX, and IoT sensors and controls. Her published work includes the “Building Innovation Guide” and contributions to the book “Mutations: Harvard Project on the City”.
Reshma serves on the Advisory Board for the Carbon Leadership Forum, and previously as Senior Advisor at the US DOE’s Building Technologies Office. She is a recipient of the American Association of University Women award and Harvard’s Community Service fellowship. Reshma holds a Masters from Harvard University, and a Bachelor’s degree in architecture from Delhi.
