Phillip currently serves as the VP of Venture Development and Investment at Centrepolis Accelerator, where he leads Centrepolis’ early stage and late stage programming, ecosystem development and investment in ClimateTech and DeepTech companies. Additionally Phillip serves as an expert-in-residence for the Industry 4.0 Accelerator, the nation’s first i4.0 Accelerator dedicated to supporting manufacturing firms globally.

Outside of Centrepolis, Phillip is a founding Member of High Alpha Fusion’s Venture Studio Advisor Network, founding board member of the Emerge Innovation Hub in Southwest Michigan, and founding member of the Michigan Manufacturing Angel Group, the only hardtech and manufacturing dedicated angel group in the Midwest.

Previous to working in venture development and ecosystem building, Phillip spent 12 years in industry working for Whirlpool corporation, starting out building technology platforms to help technicians better service appliances, before moving into product development launching new-to-the-world products in Whirlpool’s WLabs Innovation Group, and working in manufacturing.

Also, Phill serves as a startup advisor, and fractional COO/CEO, focused on helping technical founding teams navigate the early stages of product development,business development and fundraising.
