Michael Trent is the Vice President of Member Services and Public Relations at Randolph Electric Membership Corporation in Asheboro, N.C. In his more than 29 years at the cooperative, Michael has served as a meter reader, warehouseman, and energy use advisor. In his current role, Michael leads the Communications, Energy Services and Member Services groups toward Randolph EMC’s vision of providing exceptional service and empowering members.

He is a Certified Key Accounts Executive, Certified Building Performance Analyst and completed the Robert I. Kabat Management Internship Program through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. He resides in Randolph County with his wife, Lori, and son, Kobe. He is active in his church and enjoys camping, hiking and fishing with his family.
