May Jaramillo is head of Energy Transition & Climate Tech Investment Banking
within the Energy & Power Investment Banking group in Wells Fargo’s Corporate &
Investment Bank (CIB). May leads CIB Banking’s dedicated coverage team focused
on emerging energy transition and climate technology companies.

May joined Wells Fargo in August 2024 from Barclays where she was Americas co-
head of the Energy & Climate Tech team within the Energy Transition group. She
spent 22 years at Barclays, where she held numerous leadership roles including head of Americas Sustainable & Impact Banking and European head for Sustainable &
Impact Banking. May also spent 16 years advising Natural Resource clients on Equity
Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions transactions.
May received a bachelor of arts from City University of New York. She is based in
New York.
