Justin Tomljanovic is the Senior Vice President, Utility Finance and Corporate Development at Xcel Energy. In this role, he leads the corporate development team responsible for negotiating and executing mergers, acquisitions and divestitures to enhance financial performance and corporate capabilities. This includes solar, wind and other advanced energy technology acquisitions and project development, as well as participation in the Company’s activities related to its venture investments in various clean energy technology funds. He is also responsible for the Purchased Power team, which manages the Company’s energy supply agreements with third party generators. As well, Justin leads the Operating company finance group responsible for the development and execution of short and long-term financial strategies for the four Xcel operating companies, including cost recovery strategies through rate cases, other regulatory filings and legislative advocacy.

Prior to joining Xcel Energy in 2019, Justin worked at PG&E for over nine years in a variety of roles including leading Corporate Development, Generation Asset Management/Strategy and Economic Analysis. Justin also worked in the solar industry as the North America CFO at SunEdison, as well as in wind energy development.
