Justin Badlam is a Senior Advisor for Strategy and Industrial Policy at the Department of Energy’s Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains (MESC) where he focuses on industrial policy, investment strategy, and supply chain security for energy technologies. Prior to joining the Department of Energy, he was a consultant in McKinsey & Company’s Washington, DC office, serving as the Firm’s lead expert on US policy and regulatory developments including the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Inflation Reduction Act, and CHIPS and Science Act. A proud Northern New Yorker, he lives in the Washington, DC area with his family.
