Jeff Wahl is a strategic leader in the energy sector, specializing in entrepreneurial and impactful development of strategies to accelerate the energy transition. With over a decade of experience in operations, startups and program management, Jeff is committed to driving innovation and impact within organizations that prioritize environmental stewardship and social equity.
In his current role as Vice President of Customer Programs, Jeff is focused on accelerating energy efficiency, demand response, electrification and distributed renewable energy initiatives and while working to initiate & optimize operational processes on the island of Puerto Rico with LUMA Energy.
Prior to his current role, Jeff held influential roles at a variety of energy sector technology and services companies, where he developed a user-centric understanding of energy consumption and measures aimed at impacting behavioral and market modifications necessary to arrive at a clean energy future. This approach has consistently led to the successful trial, error & execution of projects such as energy data availability in the real estate industry, device level disaggregation, behavioral and intervention programming, and grid edge sensing and dispatch technologies.
Jeff holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Sustainability from University of Colorado at Boulder and BS from Colorado State University, Fort Collins. He is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer having served in the Dominican Republic from 2008-2010, as a Community Economic Development Specialist. Originally from Colorado, he and his wife and two daughters currently reside in San Juan, Puerto Rico and enjoy both the playa and the campo – when able to explore and enjoy the Caribbean culture in our free time.
