Jamie Liang is the President and Chief Executive Officer of TerraVolta Resources, a company he founded in in 2022. TerraVolta Resources’ mission is to pioneer a more sustainable future by becoming the leading domestic producer of lithium and other critical minerals. Mr. Liang has over 22 years of management and leadership experience. He has co-founded several companies in the energy and sustainability sectors, leading them from inception to successful exits. Previously, Mr. Liang served as the Founder and Managing Partner of Battlecat Energy Partners LP, a private equity firm focused on direct investments in energy assets. In addition, Mr. Liang was a Co-Founder and the Chief Financial Officer of Battlecat Oil & Gas until its sale to a public company in 2017. As an investment banker, he was involved in over $20 billion of transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors. His previous experience encompasses debt and equity capital raising, project and structured finance, public finance, and mergers and acquisitions advisory.

Mr. Liang is a member of the Zero Emission Transportation Association, NAATBatt, Houston Producer’s Forum, Houston Energy Finance Group, the CFA Society of Houston, and the CAIA Association. He is also involved with numerous charitable activities and is a frequent speaker at industry events and conferences.

Mr. Liang received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rice University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations and is a member of the CFA Institute.
