Ignacio Estella has served as Senior Vice President – DEI, Talent, and Innovation since July 2024. In this new role, he is committed to fostering an inclusive culture where all different perspectives are seen, heard, and are integral to driving innovation. Before assuming this newly formed role, Ignacio was Senior Vice President – Corporate Development with responsibility for delivering non-organic growth opportunities for the company beyond those of its present businesses. Ignacio also served as Corporate Vice President of Business Origination of Iberdrola, S.A. and, prior to that, as Gas Markets Development Director.

Ignacio holds a degree in law and business from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas and a master’s degree of public administration, with concentrations in industry analysis and strategic negotiation, from Harvard University.
