Emily Goldfield is a Portfolio Strategy Advisor at the DOE’s Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED), where she supports OCED’s mission to unlock investment in critical clean energy technologies. She is currently leading an initiative to provide analysis and insights from OCED’s $26B portfolio of demonstration projects to fill critical information gaps impacting investment decisions.
Prior to joining DOE, Emily led strategy and marketing at a Series A energy forecasting startup (acquired by Snowflake in 2023) and advised utility and climate tech clients as part of BCG’s Climate and Sustainability practice. She began her career at RMI designing and implementing global clean energy initiatives, most notably building RMI’s India Program and working closely with the Indian government and private sector on clean transportation programs and policies. Emily holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business and a BS in Atmosphere/Energy Engineering from Stanford University.
